SealSafe's dispenser facilitates the quick and easy dispensing of film from a roll allowing microplates to be sealed three times faster than using sheeted films. Cost-effective replacement rolls are sold separately. Ideal for use under the hood; the SealMate dispenser minimizes film contamination. Environmentally friendly; no paper liner to remove and discard; utilizes approximately 72% less material than SealPlate sheeted film. Peelable heat sealing film, optically clear; suitable for qPCR and optical applications Heat sealing offers a 100% effective method for plate sealing for a complete seal integrity, as well as being quick and cost effective. Our Clear Heat Seal is an optically clear laminate film forming a peelable seal to polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate and cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) plates. Samples can also be accessed by pre-piercing with a blade, needle or our Pierce Plate (4ti-0398). The optical clarity of this seal enables its use for sealing plates required for imaging use, including fluorescent detection methods such as qPCR and colorimetric assays. The Clear Heat Seal forms a complete seal to a plate enabling both low temperature uses, including low temperature storage, and high temperature uses, such as PCR (when used with a pressurised heated lid). Film can cling to itself and glass vessels. It is heat Resistant and softens at 100 degree C. It is strong and will stretch 300-400% before breaking or tearing. It is tight sealing and forms and air tight barrier when stretched across openings. Ideal for Test Tubes.

This unique double-layer film consists of a clear, easily pierceable, adhesive-free polypropylene film bonded to a 96-well diecut adhesive polypropylene sublayer. This combination provides an adhesive-free zone over each well while ensuring a secure seal around the rim and between wells. Designed for 96-well microplates where well-to-well contamination and crossover is of critical concern. The easy-piercing film allows for direct sample recovery with single and multichannel pipettors or robotic probes. The adhesive-free zone above each well prevents adhesive fouling of the pipet tip or probe, ultimately minimizing the amount of adhesive that comes into contact with the sample. Alkali Scientific Xtreme™ AlumaFoil™ High-Strength ULT Sealing Film, 100/pk
Xtreme™ AlumaFoil™ is an aluminum foil seal that offers excellent chemical resistance and superior performance in ultra-low temperatures. The smaller dimensions and chamfered corners result in no plate overhang for robotics applications; universal fit for use with all plate types (e.g. raised-rim and non-skirted). Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Recommended for -80°C long-term storage. Excellent chemical resistance (e.g. DMSO). Specially formulated adhesive provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation and well-to-well contamination. 1.9mil thick aluminum foil removes easily without tearing and allows for visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Pierceable with a pipet tip for direct sample recovery. Not recommended for PCR.

Xtreme™ Seal features an extra-strong thick adhesive to minimize evaporation, yet removes easily without leaving residue on the plate. Features chamfered corners to eliminate plate overhang for robotics applications and tight storage conditions. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Ideal for use with raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates. Selection of the proper film size will minimize evaporation. The film should not overhang or ride up the wall of a raised-rim plate. More complete coverage of skirted flat-top plates will reduce evaporation in the outer wells. End-tab removal before thermal cycling is highly recommended.
